American singer, songwriter, and dancer Kehlani has released thier new single, “Wish I Never.”
“Wish I Never” is the singer’s third single off their third studio album titled “Blue Water Road”. The album is scheduled for release in 2022.
Born Kehlani Ashley Parrish, the singer achieved initial fame as a member of the teen group Poplyfe in 2011.
In 2014, Kehlani released their first commercial mixtape, Cloud 19. The mixtape was listed as one of the Complex’s “50 Best Albums of 2014.” Their second commercial mixtape, You Should Be Here (2015), debuted at number 5 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
Kehlani’s 2015 breakout mixtape You Should Be Here received a Grammy nod in the category of “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” They contributed to the soundtracks for Suicide Squad and The Fate of the Furious and guested on Cardi B’s “Ring,” Kyle’s “PLAYINWITME,” and Justin Bieber’s “Get Me,” to name a few.
Kehlani released their debut studio album, SweetSexySavage, in 2017. They released their second studio album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t in 2020.
